Goldlink's Inventory Control ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
Data Collection & Storage
The App stores all inventory data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.
- Inventory Data: All items, photos, and records are stored locally on your device and in your iCloud account if iCloud sync is enabled.
- Photos: Images you take or import are stored locally and are not uploaded to our servers.
- AI Features: When using AI description features, photos are sent directly to the AI provider you select (Google Gemini, OpenAI, or your own Ollama server). We do not act as an intermediary.
Third-Party Services
The App may connect to the following third-party services based on features you choose to use:
- Google Gemini / OpenAI: For AI-powered item descriptions. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Ollama: Self-hosted AI. Data stays on your network.
- eBay API: For price lookups. Only search queries are sent; no personal data.
- WooCommerce: If you enable integration, inventory data syncs with your own WooCommerce store.
- UPC Lookup Services: Barcode numbers are sent to lookup services to retrieve product information.
API Keys
Any API keys you enter (for AI services, eBay, WooCommerce, etc.) are stored securely on your device and are never transmitted to us.
Analytics & Tracking
We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs in the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
